After decades of working in telecoms, she led the charge and organised a uniform for her team at work. She sought out everyday professional wear that reduce the idea and cost of having to look for work outfits. She found a manufacturer and designed the apparel for the team. This success resulted in external companies and teams looking to her to do the same for their staff.
After leaving telecoms, she filled the gap in the market with starting Caribbean International Uniforms - now CIU Ltd. and now more than 20 years later the company is still known for having established a standard for modern, professional workwear across various industries.
